I completed the memorization of the Quran at the age of 18, in Majorca Spain. Soon after I moved to Cape Town, South Africa, where I got a BA in History, Politics and Islamic Studies at Dallas College. At my return to Spain and while pursuing a Master on Cinematography and Cinema Production, I worked as an editor for Islam Hoy, the largest newspaper for Muslims in Spanish. My writings have also been featured in other publications such as Globalia Magazine, Islam Here and others, and I often participate in conferences about different topics. I have also worked as a producer and director for TV channels such as Cordoba TV, MBC, Al Jazeera, Alchemia TV, and others.
Currently, I’m focusing on writing my first book: a study of change, I continue with my Islamic Studies in places like Morocco and Egypt and I’m pursuing a Psychology Degree at UOC. I also work with the Seville Mosque Foundation as Vice President to help the project of building a mosque and Islamic cultural centre in the city of Seville, Spain, where I’m from.
